Housing Assistance Policy

The Council is the statutory Strategic Housing Authority.

Although it has no stock of its own it has the responsibility for ensuring all housing in the Borough, irrespective of tenure, meets the requirements of the Housing Act 2004 and other relevant legislation. Having high quality housing stock is fundamental to the quality of life and health and wellbeing of people and families in South Ribble.
