This housing study brings together key evidence in respect of housing need. The study was commissioned to update and develop elements of the analysis set out in the Central Lancashire Strategic Housing Market Assessment (September 2017) and principally to provide a robust up-to-date evidence base regarding the scale, type and mix of housing which is needed for the development of the local plan.
Local Housing Needs and Demand Study (January 2020)
The Local Housing Needs and Demand Study (2020) (LHNDS) provides a detailed, robust and defensible evidence base to support housing strategy and planning work. This study supports the development of the Central Lancashire Local Plan and complements both the Central Lancashire Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) and the Central Lancashire Housing Study.
