Waste and Water
Key messages
Much work has already been done locally and nationally to reduce domestic waste going to landfill, and improve recycling. However, waste production across the borough can be further reduced in the following ways:
- reducing the amount of waste produced
- re-using materials / waste where possible
- recycling waste in order to minimise the volume being sent to landfill
This may require further behavioural change as improvements are made to the services available.
