A taste of success! Annual Leyland food festival sees thousands of visitors
A Taste of Leyland returned on Saturday with thousands tasting the best local food and drink.
South Ribble Borough Council held annual food festival, A Taste of Leyland on Hough Lane with 35 traders gathering to showcase their tasty treats.
Thousands of people attended the event, making it a huge success once again. Live music and entertainment could be heard, and family activities were enjoyed by many in the centre of Leyland.
Leader of South Ribble Borough Council, Councillor Paul Foster, said: "Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy A Taste of Leyland on Saturday.
"The event was a roaring success, as always and we are so pleased that we can organise these free events for the residents and visitors of South Ribble.
"We have fantastic traders in South Ribble, and this gives us all an opportunity to celebrate that".
