The South Ribble Together Roadshow is back from the 9 September to 14 September 2024.

The Roadshow will bring a range of partners to you, to provide support for your home, health and work.

Come along to get advice and support from partners such as Progress Housing, Progress Futures, Citizens Advice, Credit Union, our own Social Prescribing Team and more.

Dr Bike, who specialise in repairing push bikes will be there throughout the Together Roadshow except for Thursday 12 September. Most bike issues can be fixed on the spot, meaning you can attend the event and ride away on a bike that feels as good as new.

South Ribble Together

The council has a Social Prescribing Team who are there to support you and build confidence to manage your own health and wellbeing and address any other issues that may be impacting your day to day life.

You can speak with a member of our team who will be able to understand if our service could help you, or whether we may be able to put you in touch with other services who are better placed to help.

The support we provide is free, confidential and personalised support that starts with you and guided by you. Once you have contacted us, someone will be in touch with you for a chat to get to know what we can help you with, from there we will sort out an appointment and support going forward. We want to support you in a way that works for you, so you will have the choice over if you wish to have your appointments over the phone or in person.

Here is an example of some of the issues we can support with:

  • money worries
  • housing issues
  • isolation / loneliness
  • employment / new skills
  • diet / exercise
  • mental health and wellbeing
