In 2019, South Ribble Borough Council declared a climate emergency, pledging to work to make the Borough carbon neutral by 2030.
In order to tackle this, a Climate Emergency Working Group was formulated and a climate emergency strategy was developed followed by a climate emergency action plan (PDF) [688KB]
