Mayor raises Ukrainian Flag

On Friday 24 February, the Mayor and Mayoress of South Ribble, Councillor David Howarth and Councillor Angela Turner, attended the Civic Centre to raise the Ukrainian flag to show solidarity one year since Russia invaded the country.

Mayor of South Ribble, Councillor David Howarth said: "As a borough we have welcomed those fleeing from conflict and we are flying the flag to stand with our friends and show our support for Ukraine."
