Before a licence can be granted you will need to undertake and pass our in house taxi driver course or a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Road Passenger Vehicle Driving (Taxi and Private Hire) (QCF) or equivalent.

Courses and exams are held at South Ribble Borough Council, West Paddock, Leyland, PR25 1DH.
The cost of the in house qualification is £150, this also includes the knowledge test and child sexual exploitation (CSE) training.
