Community risk register
Across Lancashire a Community Risk Register has been prepared to satisfy the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and its associated statutory guidance, it has been produced on behalf of all Local Authorities, Emergency Services and Utilities (Category 1 Responders) in Lancashire who are members of the Lancashire Resilience Forum and is based on the risk profile of Lancashire.
The Community Risk Register aims to provide the residents of Lancashire with an awareness of the risks they face, identifying the local hazards so the public will be better informed and able to prepare themselves. The CRR is used by Lancashire Resilience Forum and its members to drive the emergency planning work preparing responders to deal with the local hazards in a coordinated manner.
