The Active Health team delivers a number of programmes for adults and children which require personal data. We must collect this data as a number of our programmes are externally funded with specific reporting requirements. We must also collect this data under our obligation to ensure the safety and protection of all those who take part in our programmes. The programmes for which collect personal data are listed below:

  • Active Lifestyles Tier 2 Weight Management Course
  • Cook, Eat, Play Primary School Club
  • Active Camps School Holiday Provision.

  • tailor courses to suit individuals
  • emergency Contact whilst you are with us
  • contact you about your booking if required
  • contact you about future opportunities related to this project
  • share anonymously with funders to continue to access funding to provide the service.

How long we may keep your personal information

Your information will be held electronically and retained for a period of 7 years. Your information will be held securely and treated confidentially.

Who we share your personal data with

For our Active Lifestyles Programme anonymised data is shared with our funders at Lancashire County Council, and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities. Name, Contact Number, Email is not shared.

Our Active Camps data is not shared with any other organisation.

The council has a duty to protect the public funds it administers and may use the information you have provided or share it with other bodies for the purpose of preventing and detecting fraud. This includes participation in the cabinet offices National fraud Initiative.

We may share your information for the lawful purpose of the prevention and detection of crime under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998
