UKSPF Community Places and Spaces Grants

Nearly £100,000 is available in funding for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations.

We're allocating £98,339 of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in grants to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCSFE) organisations to support their capacity building and infrastructure.

This is a one-off community grant fund programme which will support enabling the VCFSE to further enhance and sustain their facilities, to help in providing services that support the most vulnerable people. 

We aim to award a minimum of five grants of up to £20,000.

Applications for the scheme will open on 18 August and will close on 31 August.

Information and eligibility criteria

Projects which will be considered for funding are those which:

  • improve assets with a view to climate change 
  • improve local green or open spaces 
  • improve access or use of facilities
  • provide sustainability for assets which can ensure use by the community long term

To be eligible for funding, your organisation must be one of the following:

  • A registered charity
  • A voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise group/organisation

Community interest companies (CICs) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
