Residents' parking permits

Scope of Parking Permit

1. Parking permits are available for use on Victoria Road short stay car park only.
2. 1 vehicle registration can be placed on one permit.
3. List of eligible properties included in the permit scheme: 172 to 180 Victoria Road, Leyland, PR5 4AY.
4. Proof of address required; documentation must be dated within 3 months upon application except a driving licence.

Term of parking permit

5. Parking permits are valid for 12 months, commencing on the day of issue.

Cost of parking permit

6. The cost of a 12-month permit is £28.60 although these amounts are subject to change.

Renewal of parking permit

7. Parking permits can be renewed up to 1 month before expiry date. The permit holder is responsible for renewing their own permit.

Amendment or cancellation of parking permit

8. The Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) can be edited on MiPermit account as and when required.
9. Cancellation of a permit is non-refundable.

Misuse of the parking permit

10. Where a permit is used other than in accordance with these terms and conditions the holder will be issued with a warning letter.
11. In the event of a further default in complying with terms and conditions of use of the parking permit the Council will notify the holder and cancel the permit 7 days following the notification

12. The provision of a parking permit does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.
13. Usual car park rules apply to permit holders – see tariff board for details.
14. These terms and conditions will apply during the currency of any parking permit but are liable to change or alteration on renewal.
