SRBC are aware that this company are now processing waste at the Farington facility and the operation has potential to give rise to odour problems. SRBC are not involved with this site as it is owned and operated by Lancashire County Council, and the site has an Environmental Permit dealt with by the Environment Agency.
The operator has asked that any complaints in the first instance are made to them directly so that they can be dealt with as quickly as possible and any amendments to the process made accordingly.
