We have teamed up with TV chef Theo Michaels to support residents with free access to Five Dinners, a website that provides meal plans and recipe cards.
Have tasty meals without overpaying for groceries.
The service usually costs £86 per year but the council has subsidised the cost for residents as a tool to support growing costs of day-to-day food bills.
Councillor Kath Unsworth, Cabinet Member for Environment and Streetscene said: “I’m delighted that we can pay for all residents to have access to Five Dinners. We’re committed to doing all we can to support residents through the cost-of-living crisis and this scheme is a brilliant way to cut back on your food bills while having tasty and nutritious meals.
“I know many households are feeling the strain of the rising prices in supermarkets and by signing up for Five Dinners, you’ll get custom tailored meal plans designed at cutting down the price of your food bill, whilst reducing your household waste.”
