Gas servicing
The winter warmth programme provides eligible householders with free oil, gas or LPG boiler and/or fire service.
The criteria you will need to meet to be eligible is:
- aged 65 or over with a pre-existing medical condition
- anyone with a disability
- households with a child under the age of 5.
For appliance servicing, you must also satisfy the following:
- appliances must not have been serviced in the last 2 years
- appliances must be fully working without any existing faults.
Following the service, should a repair or replacement be required, this will be fully funded through the scheme (subject to funding).
The scheme can be withdrawn at any time once the funding has been allocated, funding will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
If you have previously benefited from the scheme, you will no longer qualify.
