The scheme will run from 1 April to 31 March each year.
The service will cost £25 per year for every bin you wish to be collected, and collections are done on a fortnightly basis.
If you do not already have a brown bin at your address, then you will receive a new brown bin as part of the £25 subscription.
If you want more than one subscription, but only have one bin at present, we will provide an additional bin for free. Note: this must be requested during the subscription process.
Once you have successfully subscribed, you will receive a permit and sticker in the post which must be displayed on the back of the bin, under the handle. Your bin will not be collected unless it has the sticker displayed.
It can take up to 12 working days for your permit and sticker to arrive. If after 12 working days you have not received your permit, please contact our Gateway team on 01772 625 625 and report it.
If you do not wish to subscribe to the new Garden Waste Service you will no longer get a brown bin collection from the 1st April 2020. You can either compost the garden waste at home or dispose of it at your local Household Waste Recycling Centre for free.
