Corporate Strategy 2023/24 to 2024/25

Introduction from Leader, Councillor Paul Foster

"Together, we are proud to be delivering even more for South Ribble"

Over the last 12 months the council has delivered positive outcomes for the residents of  South Ribble.

We have helped our communities by providing access to services, advice and practical financial support to households through our Cost of Living Action Plan, promoting resident wellbeing and supporting those coping with increasing costs.

We've delivered affordable homes with the completion of the McKenzie Arms Scheme, hosted the second Music in the Park festival, and progressed the Leyland Town Deal for the benefit of local residents and businesses.

Our health and wellbeing programme which collaborates with local partners has engaged residents from across our borough. We have committed to providing green and clean neighbourhoods by improving the green infrastructure across the borough and taken action on climate change.

We know we can do more and over the next 12 months we will continue to protect our most vulnerable residents and do more for families and businesses, whilst delivering key achievements for the borough.

I'm positive that together, we can achieve better outcomes for our beautiful borough.

I hope you will see this strategy as a pledge from your council to help, listen and work with you to develop a better, fairer and more sustainable borough where residents and businesses can achieve their potential and flourish.
