Simply Health Cash Plan
The Simply Health Cash Plan is a voluntary scheme that helps employees with the cost of healthcare for the whole family.
Children under the age of 18 are covered by an employee’s policy free of charge.
It has a range of packages to suit individual circumstances, giving a cash sum towards dental/optical treatment, physiotherapy/chiropractic/osteopathy and diagnostic health consultations and hospital stays.
 
Free Life Insurance
For employees who have been members of the Local Government Pension Scheme for more than five years this provides death benefit of up to a year’s salary on a sliding scale based upon service.
 
Qualifications  and Training Courses
The council will support training for its staff and for those undertaking a recognised qualification course, they may also contribute towards:

Payment of Professional Subscriptions
Employees who are members of a professional body/association directly related to their post are entitled to receive re-imbursement of one professional subscription per year.

The Occupational Health Service provides a broad range of services from Attendance Management to Rehabilitation.
We are also able to offer Counselling and Physiotherapy treatment in some instances.
 
Leisure Centre Membership

Credit Union
Blues and Twos is a credit union exclusively for the staff, retired members and families of the Emergency Services and Councils of Lancashire and Cumbria. A Credit Union is a financial Co-operative, offering members a convenient way to save and borrow.
