South Ribble Borough Council is pleased to announce a festive parking offer to support local shopping and seasonal events in the town centre.
From 8 December to 24 December 2025 (inclusive), visitors will benefit from free parking in council-run town centre car parks.
The offer includes:
- Churchill Way, Leyland
- Ecroyd Street, Leyland
- Sumner Street, Leyland
- King Street, Leyland
- East Street, Leyland
- Hope Terrace, Lostock Hall
- Rear Civic Centre, West Paddock
The initiative is designed to encourage more people to visit local shops and businesses in town centre during the festive season.
Councillor Wes Roberts, Cabinet Member for Finance and Assets at South Ribble Borough Council said, said: "Christmas is such an important time for our local businesses and other venues and we want to make it as easy as possible for people to come into town, shop local, and enjoy everything our towns and villages have to offer.
“This parking offer is a simple way to support our traders and help residents make the most of the festive season."
