Bin collection service issues

We have received reports from the following roads where we have been unable to make collections and/or gain access. If your street is listed below, please do not report a missed bin collection, as we are already aware and aim to rectify this as soon as possible. Please leave your bin at the collection point. We are sorry for any inconvenience these delays may cause.

Update

Due to ongoing roadworks, our refuse and waste collection teams are experiencing difficulties accessing certain roads in Lostock Hall. The limited width of the roads has made it challenging for our larger vehicles to pass through. The affected roads are:

  • Towns Way
  • Chartwell Rise
  • New Pastures
  • Malvern Close
  • Blenheim Close
  • Riverway Close
  • Woodstock Close
  • Kiddlington Close
  • Bridge End
  • Breeze Mount
  • Bridgeway
  • Baytree Close
  • Fellway Close
  • Tudor Croft
  • Regency Avenue

We have spoken with the contractor, who has advised us that the works should be completed by early next week.

Please ensure you have left your bin out ready for collection. If we have not managed to gain access by 4pm on Friday 13 June, we hope to make collections on Monday 16 June or Tuesday 17 June.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
