Abandoned vehicles
South Ribble Borough Council is responsible for ensuring that abandoned vehicles are removed from the borough's highways and open spaces.
Abandoned vehicles can rapidly become an eyesore and hazard for a local community if left unchecked in a street or public open space. Therefore we arrange them to be removed as soon as possible.
If you wish to report what you believe to be an abandoned vehicle, please contact the local police in the first instance on 101 with details of the vehicle including the make, model, colour, registration number and whether there is a valid tax disc.
The vehicle can then be reported to us.
