Order new or replacement bins

We are currently experiencing supply issues with our green recycling boxes. The wait for a green box is now estimated at 4 weeks, rather than the usual 5 working days. Please also be advised that your new box may be supplied with a black lid. This will not affect the service you receive.

If your wheelie bin or box has been stolen, or you have moved into a brand new property, you can order a new bin or box online. You can also use the online form to order a replacement lid or wheels for your grey, blue, or brown wheelie bin and replacement lids for green boxes.

We issue the following containers:

  • Grey bin - non-recyclable waste
  • Blue bin - glass, cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs, and trays
  • Green box - paper and card
  • Brown bin - garden waste only (subscription service)

Costs for new properties or developments

We provide and deliver waste collection containers to newly-built properties. There is a fee of £100 for this service. This fee is charged to the developer and is to be paid at the property numbering request stage. The containers will then be delivered when requested by the new property's occupants.

If the development is a multi-occupancy property, the fee will remain at £100 per unit. However, a site visit will be made and larger communal bins could be provided instead.

If the developer chooses not to pay the fee then it will be passed on to the occupant.
